All the coordinators have to reread the work
program in our blog for implementing activities written in the form
for each month in each school.
on 15TH OCTOBER all the partner delegations were met in Dobele Town Council
and could enjoy DVĢ students singing and dancing.
The culmination of the concert was the poem recited by Karīna Tautkus the member of DVĢ ECO club:
Mother Nature
Our
world is always changing,
Constantly
re-arranging.
From ocean depths
to mountain peaks,
Mother Nature moves
and speaks.
While telling
stories of our past
She tries to teach
us how to last.
Mankind, so smart,
sometimes blind
Leaves common sense
far behind.
We're moving fast
and living large,
Forgetting she's
the one in charge.
Amazed when she
rings our bell,
Sending us through
living hell.
She can twist our
steel, shake any city,
If her wrath you
feel, we shall pity.
Yet some who speak
on her behalf,
I fear just seek
the golden calf.
It's true, we must
treat her right.
Or we will incur a
deadly plight.
Treat her with
distinction
Or surely face
extinction!

And we all planted decorative shrubs and trees as gift to the nature and people.
Thank you partners for such wonderful gesture.
Thank you Brygida for the idea.
After a job well done sweet surprise was waiting for us in Pūre chocolate museum
and later Forestry museum
In the evening our guests met with our teachers from Dobele State Gymnasium. We all sang and played different games, talked to each other and got to know each other. It was a great fun.
On 16TH OCTOBER we went to the capital of Latvia RĪGA
Riga met us with excellent architectural wonders but it was so freezing cold that it probably
was the main drawback what made this experience not so enjoyable especially for those
partners who are more used to warmer weather conditions.
In the evening it was time to sum up everything we had experienced in those short but at
the same time difficult days.
Serap and Pēteris
